I heard Dale on Prairie Home Companion recently and was so entertained that I thought I would buy his book. He is a great musician and funny to boot. All I can say is, you'd never know it from this book. What a dud!It is 48 teeny tiny pages, only half of which have anything written on them at all, the other half are "illustrative" line-drawn cartoons of unaware travelers, and the last page is booking info for Dale. But worst of all???? It's serious. It really IS etiquette advice. For ignorant or unconscious travelers. Like "Clean up after yourself." I thought maybe I could re-gift it as a joke, but it's not even that good.
Loved your show, Dale, and would enjoy a rousing round of chicken poo bingo, but stick with your music and gab. Please.

I'm grateful to have a copy of his book and highly recommend it!!!
Besides being an author, Dale is in my opinion one of the best musicians
in Texas and the United States. I give Watson my highest rating.
